This course has taught me so much about the integration of technology in teaching. This was a whole new realm of learning and creativity, different from what I am used to since I am a Medical-Biology/Pre-PA major. However, I do believe that I can use some of the things I have learned in the future. I have learned about so many digital tools that can enhance students learning. I will be a PA student for the next two years, so learning about these tools online will be beneficial in order to enhance my learning. Also, my classmates may need some help as well, so I can introduce them to these tools as well. Throughout this course, I have used so many different tools. For instance, the one’s that I have used and have stuck with me are Book Creator, Nearpod, Bitmoji Classroom, Padlet, and more. There seems to be an endless abundance of learning platforms like these, which makes technology and learning in our modern day world to thrive. Aside from my next two years as a student, once I graduate and become a Physician Assistant I can see myself using technology everyday. As a PA, I will be using high-tech charting for patients. I will be continuously having to adapt to the different technology and formatting. Having a wide background on technology will most definitely allow me to succeed and understand how to use them differently. Also, if I am unfamiliar with what a patient brings to my attention, I will have to do quick and efficient research online in order to adequately treat them. From now on, I will continue to have an open-mind in regards to technology, and use it in ways that will benefit myself and others.
